1. Introduction

Welcome to Truventa Medical ("Truventa Medical," "we," "us," or "our"). We are a telehealth platform dedicated to connecting patients with licensed physicians across all 50 states of the United States. Our platform supports a comprehensive range of men's and women's health optimization services, including weight management, hormone therapy, peptide therapy, sexual health, hair restoration, and longevity medicine.

This Privacy Policy ("Policy") describes how we collect, use, disclose, and safeguard your information when you visit our website at truventamedical.com (the "Site") and interact with our services. Please read this Policy carefully. By accessing or using the Site, you acknowledge that you have read, understood, and agree to the collection and use of information as described in this Policy.

Important distinction: Truventa Medical's public-facing website (truventamedical.com) functions as a marketing and informational platform. All patient clinical data — including protected health information (PHI) — is handled exclusively by our licensed healthcare provider partners through OpenLoop Health, a fully HIPAA-compliant telehealth infrastructure platform. OpenLoop Health maintains its own Notice of Privacy Practices governing the collection and use of your PHI, which you will receive at the time of clinical enrollment.

If you have questions about this Policy at any time, you may contact us at privacy@truventamedical.com.

2. Information We Collect

Information You Provide to Us

When you interact with our Site — for example, by completing a health assessment form, requesting a consultation, or signing up for communications — you may provide us with personal information, including:

  • Contact information: your first and last name, email address, and phone number
  • Demographic information: your age range, gender, and state of residence (used to confirm service availability)
  • Assessment responses: general health and lifestyle questions submitted through our pre-consultation intake forms (these are non-clinical screening questions and do not constitute a medical consultation)
  • Communication preferences: your preferences for receiving health information and marketing communications

We collect only the minimum information necessary to connect you with appropriate care and to operate our platform effectively.

Information Collected Automatically

When you visit our Site, certain information is automatically collected by our servers and third-party analytics tools, including:

  • Device and browser information: your IP address, browser type and version, operating system, device type, and screen resolution
  • Usage data: pages you visit, time spent on each page, links clicked, scroll depth, and referring URL
  • Session data: date and time of visits, session duration, and navigation patterns across our Site
  • Location data: approximate geographic location derived from your IP address (city/state level — not precise GPS location)

This information is used to understand how users interact with our Site, to improve user experience, and to inform our marketing and content strategy.

Cookies and Similar Technologies

We use cookies, web beacons, pixel tags, and similar tracking technologies to collect information about your browsing behavior. See Section 5 (Cookies & Tracking) for a full description of the types of cookies we use and how to manage your preferences.

We do NOT collect Protected Health Information (PHI) on this marketing website. Clinical data — including medical history, diagnoses, prescriptions, and treatment records — is collected and managed exclusively by licensed healthcare providers through OpenLoop Health's HIPAA-compliant platform. That data is governed by a separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices.

3. How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect for the following purposes:

To Provide and Improve Our Services

  • To respond to your inquiries and connect you with licensed physicians available in your state
  • To process your initial intake assessment and route you to the appropriate care program
  • To personalize your experience on the Site based on your stated interests and location
  • To analyze usage patterns and improve the functionality, content, and usability of our Site
  • To troubleshoot technical issues and maintain the security and integrity of our platform

To Communicate with You

  • To send you transactional emails related to your inquiry or account (e.g., confirmation of form submission)
  • To send you health education content, treatment information, and platform updates — but only with your explicit consent
  • To respond to customer service requests and support inquiries

To Comply with Legal Obligations

  • To comply with applicable laws, regulations, and legal processes
  • To enforce our Terms of Service and other agreements
  • To detect, prevent, and address fraud, abuse, or security incidents

We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties. We do not sell, rent, trade, or otherwise transfer your personal data to outside parties for their own marketing purposes. Period.

4. HIPAA Notice

The Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act of 1996 (HIPAA) establishes national standards for the protection of certain health information known as Protected Health Information (PHI). HIPAA applies to "Covered Entities" — specifically, healthcare providers, health plans, and healthcare clearinghouses that transmit health information electronically — and their "Business Associates."

Our Role

Truventa Medical's public marketing website does not function as a HIPAA Covered Entity. The information collected on this Site (such as your name, email, and general health interests submitted via our assessment form) does not constitute PHI as defined under HIPAA.

How Clinical Data is Protected

All clinical consultations, medical evaluations, prescription management, and patient health records are conducted and managed exclusively by licensed healthcare providers operating through OpenLoop Health, a HIPAA-compliant telehealth infrastructure platform. OpenLoop Health functions as a Business Associate under HIPAA and maintains all required technical, administrative, and physical safeguards to protect your PHI.

When you transition from our marketing site to the clinical care platform, you will be presented with and asked to acknowledge a separate HIPAA Notice of Privacy Practices — the legally required disclosure that explains precisely how your PHI will be used and disclosed by your healthcare providers.

Your Rights Under HIPAA

Once you are enrolled as a patient through our clinical partners, HIPAA grants you significant rights regarding your health information, including the right to:

  • Access and receive a copy of your health records
  • Request corrections to inaccurate or incomplete records
  • Receive an accounting of disclosures of your PHI
  • Request restrictions on how your PHI is used and disclosed
  • File a complaint with the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services (HHS) if you believe your rights have been violated

For questions specifically related to your PHI and clinical care, please contact your healthcare provider directly or reach out to OpenLoop Health's privacy officer.

5. Cookies & Tracking

We use cookies and similar tracking technologies to enhance your experience on our Site and to understand how our Site is used. Below is a description of the categories of cookies we deploy:

Essential Cookies

These cookies are strictly necessary for the Site to function and cannot be disabled. They enable core functionalities such as navigation, form submission, security protections, and load balancing. Without these cookies, certain features of the Site may not work properly. Because they are essential, they are not subject to your cookie preferences.

Analytics Cookies

We use analytics tools — primarily Google Analytics 4 (GA4) — to collect aggregated, anonymized data about how users interact with our Site. This includes information about pages visited, session duration, bounce rates, and traffic sources. This data helps us understand what content is most valuable and where we can improve the user experience. GA4 data is processed by Google and subject to Google's privacy policy.

Marketing & Remarketing Cookies

We may use marketing cookies placed by platforms such as Google Ads, Meta (Facebook), and others to measure the effectiveness of our advertising campaigns and to serve relevant ads to users who have previously visited our Site. These cookies track your activity across websites and enable us to display targeted content.

How to Manage Cookies

You have several options for managing or disabling cookies:

  • Browser settings: Most web browsers allow you to refuse or delete cookies through their settings. Please refer to your browser's help documentation for instructions.
  • Google Analytics opt-out: Install the Google Analytics Opt-out Browser Add-on to prevent your data from being collected by GA4.
  • Ad industry opt-outs: Visit optout.aboutads.info or optout.networkadvertising.org to opt out of interest-based advertising.

Please note that disabling certain cookies may affect the functionality of our Site and your ability to access certain features.

6. Information Sharing

We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share your information in the following limited circumstances:

Healthcare Providers

To connect you with licensed physicians and initiate your care journey, we may share your name, contact information, and intake assessment responses with our clinical partner network, including OpenLoop Health and affiliated licensed healthcare providers. This sharing is necessary to deliver the services you have requested.

Service Providers

We work with trusted third-party companies that assist us in operating our Site and delivering our services. These service providers may access your information solely to perform services on our behalf and are contractually obligated to maintain the confidentiality and security of your information. Categories of service providers include:

  • Website hosting and infrastructure providers
  • Email and SMS communication platforms
  • Analytics providers (e.g., Google Analytics)
  • Customer relationship management (CRM) platforms
  • Advertising and marketing platforms

Legal Requirements

We may disclose your information when required to do so by law or in response to valid legal process, including subpoenas, court orders, or government requests. We may also disclose information when we believe in good faith that disclosure is necessary to protect our rights, protect your safety or the safety of others, investigate fraud, or respond to a government request.

Business Transfers

In the event that Truventa Medical undergoes a merger, acquisition, reorganization, bankruptcy, or sale of all or a portion of its assets, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction. We will notify you of any such change by posting a prominent notice on our Site and/or by sending you an email notification.

With Your Consent

We may share your information with additional third parties with your explicit prior consent, at your direction.

We never sell your personal information. Your data is not a product. We will not sell, rent, or trade your personal information to any third party for their independent marketing or commercial purposes.

7. Your Rights

Depending on your state of residence, you may have certain rights with respect to your personal information. We are committed to honoring these rights and making it easy for you to exercise them.

Access and Portability

You have the right to request a copy of the personal information we hold about you. We will provide this information in a commonly used, machine-readable format upon a verified request.

Correction

If you believe that any personal information we hold about you is inaccurate or incomplete, you have the right to request that we correct or update it.

Deletion

You have the right to request the deletion of your personal information, subject to certain exceptions (e.g., where we are required by law to retain it, or where the information is necessary to complete a transaction you have requested).

Opt-Out of Marketing

You may opt out of receiving marketing emails from us at any time by clicking the "Unsubscribe" link at the bottom of any marketing email, or by contacting us at privacy@truventamedical.com. Please note that opting out of marketing emails will not prevent you from receiving transactional or service-related communications.

California Residents — CCPA Rights

If you are a California resident, the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and the California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA) grant you additional rights, including:

  • The right to know what categories of personal information we collect and how it is used
  • The right to know whether your personal information is sold or disclosed, and to whom
  • The right to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information (we do not sell personal information)
  • The right to non-discrimination for exercising your CCPA rights
  • The right to limit the use and disclosure of sensitive personal information

To submit a CCPA request, contact us at privacy@truventamedical.com with the subject line "CCPA Request." We will respond within 45 days.

8. Data Security

We take the security of your personal information seriously and implement a variety of technical and organizational measures designed to protect your information against unauthorized access, use, disclosure, alteration, or destruction.

Technical Safeguards

  • SSL/TLS encryption: All data transmitted between your browser and our Site is encrypted using industry-standard SSL/TLS (Secure Sockets Layer/Transport Layer Security) protocols.

Clinical Data Security

All clinical and health data associated with your patient record is stored and protected by OpenLoop Health's HIPAA-compliant infrastructure. OpenLoop Health maintains Business Associate Agreements (BAAs) with all subcontractors handling PHI, and employs robust technical, administrative, and physical safeguards consistent with HIPAA Security Rule requirements.

While we work hard to protect your information, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is 100% secure. If you have reason to believe that your interaction with us is no longer secure, please contact us immediately at privacy@truventamedical.com.

9. Children's Privacy

Our services are intended exclusively for adults aged 18 years and older. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the age of 18. By using our Site, you represent and warrant that you are at least 18 years of age.

If we discover that we have inadvertently collected personal information from a person under 18, we will promptly delete that information from our records. If you are a parent or guardian and believe your child has provided personal information to us, please contact us at privacy@truventamedical.com and we will take immediate steps to remove the information.

Our Site complies with the Children's Online Privacy Protection Act (COPPA) by not directing any of its content to children and by not knowingly collecting information from children.
